Goverment Project

In collaboration with NSDC and NVEQF, skilling project in the state of Rajasthan extends vocational education to secondary level (classes 9-10), and higher secondary level in government schools (classes 11-12). Moreover, certification for these courses and trades offered in the vocational stream of schools, are jointly done by government and the private sector, so that youth can pursue their skill path upon completion of the school. NSQF based programs in Government schools are executed with Government of Rajasthan wherein presently offering programs in 92 government schools in the Beauty & Wellness, IT-ITes sectors in the state of Rajasthan.

F-TEC Skill Development has been implementing the project under Rajasthan State Livelihood and Development Corporation (RSLDC) for 4 Skill Development Institute for residential training to 1000 youth in the state of Rajasthan. Presently two SDIs are functional in Barmer and Kota, training youth in the sectors – Construction, Renewable Energy, Apparel.

The National Urban Livelihoods Mission was set up to reduce poverty and vulnerability of the urban poor households by enabling them to access gainful self-employment and skilled wage employment opportunities, resulting in an appreciable improvement in their livelihoods on a sustainable basis, through building strong grassroots level institutions of the poor. F-TEC has partnered with state governments to implement NULM in various districts.

F-TEC Skill Development organized Sanyojan 2012

On March 26th, F-TEC Skill Development in association with Fair Trade Forum – India organized ‘Sanyojan-9’ and the event theme was Vision 2020: Fair Trade & Social Enterprises and Role of Social Enterprises in Skill Development. The conclave opened with the blessings of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji, a humanitarian, spiritual leader and the founder of the Art of Living Foundation. Sh. A. R. Kohli, Former Governor – Mizorum formally inaugurated the event and this was followed by a panel discussion, thought leadership sessions and award distribution.

Water Conservation Awareness in Kalkaji

F-TEC Skill Development carried out the exercise of Water Conservation Awareness in Kalkaji on Sunday, 12th of July under the F-TEC Green banner. The event started at 6 a.m. from the Kajkaji Training Centre. The awareness program was a joint program which constituted students of the F-TEC Kaljaji centre who volunteered for the program & Volunteers from the Foresight Society. The program is the part of Foresight Initiative through its Authorized Training Centres of F-TEC Skill Development throughout Northern India under the banner F-TEC Green.
